Life Purpose: Working as a Life Coach

April 22, 20243 min read

How I Started:

I lost my virginity at 14 because “all of my friends were doing it.” I got pregnant at the age of 16 and later, at the age of 18, to the person I lost my virginity to. I called myself trying to be in a relationship with the father of my children. At that moment, I didn’t know anything about loving myself, which meant I couldn’t truly understand what someone else properly valuing me should look like. Moving forward, I continued with relationships that didn’t reflect true love. I lost myself. BUT GOD! This lady at work recommended I attend a group with her. That group was the beginning of my healing process. That is where I encountered my first Life Coach.

My Healing Became A Support Line for Others:

In 2015, I started working with a life coach who supported me through my divorce. She walked with me during this process and became my accountability partner. I was healing. I was showing up in this world as GOD designed for me to be. She noticed at the same time she was supporting me on my journey of self-love, a lot of women were coming to me for support. She often praised me for my growth and realization working through what I was experiencing, and having an awareness of myself. Hence, she suggested I take a certification to become a Life Coach. I was hesitant at first, but after all the realization and how I grew from my past, I realized it wasn’t my Life Coach who was calling me to be a coach, it was GOD.

What is a Spiritual Life Coach

What is a Spiritual Life Coach?

A spiritual life coach is someone who supports you to know more about your inner self and connects you to find yourself. They show you how to work with the laws of the universe to get what you want out of your life. Understanding yourself and the world around you from a spiritual perspective can help you lead a meaningful life.

As a Spiritual Life Coach, I govern myself and coaching sessions according to spiritual laws and principles. I operate from the law that everything we experience in our physical world first starts within, with that being said our work together will be from the inside out; transforming the internal being will transform your external experience. You may call that Source God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, Spirit or whatever you desire, the only agreement that is necessary is that you believe and accept that this Source exists within you. During our work together, under the guidance of the Source, will support you in awakening that knowledge and connecting to that power.

Importance to Know Yourself To Be Able to See Your Purpose

As we move through our lives, we’ll spend time doing our routines and other things that have significance and importance. But being able to know ourselves is the first thing we must accomplish. You alone serve a purpose in this life. We just have to identify and be fully aware of ourselves to be able to think about how to use our gifts and how we can contribute to the common good.

Because of my commitment to life’s purpose: I, Shanelle Boyd, am committed to co-creating a compassionate world where WOMEN are balanced in self-love as they are secure in their divine energy while holding the power of their voice as sacred by being reflective, self-nurturing, and confident.
